Reception and dispensary completed

Here is some quick news ... just before the 2nd ADC we had begun work on the main reception area which has since been completed. The reception is staffed by the resident nuns who live at the clinic and follow a duty roster. Each shift takes turns to maintain the patient records and answering the phone. The reception and clinic now has phone system and computer network also.

Behind the reception area, we have also finished the allopathic medicine dispensary. This was His Holiness idea to put here, because people can come to the window outside and we can serve them from inside, it makes it very safe and the flow is very good. It also means that when patients come back from the doctor, we can process and update their records in the reception area, then pass the prescription to the dispensary, which makes our job easier.
